RaddyananaRepair provides professional furniture repair and restoration services across Tamil Nadu. This Service Policy outlines the standards, procedures, and commitments that govern our service delivery.
2. Service Hours
- Regular Hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM IST.
- Emergency Service: Available on Sundays and holidays for urgent repairs (additional charges may apply).
- Same-Day Service: Available in Chennai metro area for bookings made before 12:00 PM.
3. Service Process
- Step 1 — Booking: Contact us via phone, WhatsApp, email, or website form.
- Step 2 — Inspection: Free on-site inspection by our technician.
- Step 3 — Estimate: Written estimate with material and labour breakdown.
- Step 4 — Approval: Client approves the estimate before work begins.
- Step 5 — Repair: Work is performed on-site or at our workshop.
- Step 6 — Quality Check: Client inspects and approves the completed work.
- Step 7 — Payment: Payment is collected after client approval.
4. On-Site vs. Workshop Repairs
Most repairs are performed at the client's location (doorstep service). However, complex repairs such as full re-upholstery, major structural rebuilds, or extensive polish work may require the furniture to be taken to our workshop. In such cases:
- We provide a pickup receipt with item description and condition.
- Transportation is handled by our insured vehicles.
- Estimated return date is communicated at pickup.
- Client is updated via WhatsApp at each stage.
5. Materials and Quality
We use branded materials from reputed manufacturers:
- Hardware: Hettich, Hafele, Ebco branded hinges, slides, and fittings.
- Polish: Asian Paints, Berger, Sirca branded wood finishes.
- Fabric: Sourced from authorised textile dealers with fire-retardant options.
- Chemicals: CPCB-approved termite treatment chemicals.
- Adhesives: Fevicol and equivalent industrial-grade adhesives.
6. Warranty Terms
- 6-month warranty on all repairs from date of completion.
- Warranty covers workmanship defects only.
- Warranty does not cover misuse, accidents, natural wear, or third-party modifications.
- Warranty claims must be reported within the warranty period via phone or email.
- Warranty service is provided free of charge at the client's location.
7. Service Area
We serve all major cities and towns in Tamil Nadu. For locations outside our regular service area, additional transportation charges may apply. See our Service Areas page for details.
8. Client Obligations
- Provide accurate description of furniture and damage.
- Ensure safe working space for technicians (electricity, ventilation, access).
- Remove personal items from furniture before repair.
- Be present or designate an authorised person during service.
- Inform us of any health concerns related to chemicals or dust.
9. Service Limitations
We reserve the right to decline service if:
- The furniture is beyond economical repair.
- The working environment poses safety risks to our technicians.
- The client requests use of substandard materials.
- The repair would compromise the structural safety of the furniture.
